Deaths of Tristan and Iseult[edit]

That part with the white and black sails is remiding me of the greek story of Theseus and how his father Aegeus kills himself when Theseus forgets to fly white sails on his return. I think this warrants a mentioning. -85.179.90.195 (talk) 06:56, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The black and white sails is almost certainly adapted from the Theseus myth. I think there is information on that at other articles.--Cúchullain t/c 07:54, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Split[edit]

I suggest splitting off the section about Iseult of Brittany (who is a major figure in her own right, with plenty of sourced analysis) into a separate article, and focusing this one on Iseult of Ireland. DanCherek (talk) 04:15, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
