Removal of Sentence[edit]

Am, what to say, was McDonalds around in the 16oos? I removed this sentence below as it simply seemed lost, if I am wrong, would love to hear.

"He worked at McDonald's from age 16 to 25, then advanced to the position of manager in 2004, then retired".
