What is engraving?[edit]

I came across this article, but really don't know anything about engraving, so I find it hard to pick up on what he is engraving, or what is was that he learned from de Passe. Maybe if there were Wikilinks that made it clearer what his work was about it might be easier to read. Amy Z (talk) 05:54, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I added a wikilink around line engraving. The article stated in the lead that line engraving was the type of engraving he did. The wikilink goes to the page that describes line engraving. Hope that helps. LogicalFinance33 (talk) 05:58, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately to date there is only one of his engraving on commons. I have linked in a copy to that one, and added a link to a commons category which in future may hold more engravings. -- PBS (talk) 22:52, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
