It seems like this article could be in he Sherlock Holmes category and/or have a SH template... Any comments on this before I do it?

Bell and The Ripper[edit]

There's no evidence that Bell was ever involved in the Ripper investigation, and the article provides no citation. I suggest it be removed

Further to this question, the passage "Supposedly both were involved in the "Jack the Ripper" investigation and, though it was never disclosed, seven days after Bell submitted the name of his suspect, the killings stopped" is prima facie absurd -- to say that a series of killings that were happening weeks apart "stopped" "seven days" after anything is just ridiculous, and if the supposed source cited actually says it, then it has no credibility. 124.176.149.161 (talk) 23:50, 8 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
