Untitled[edit]

"As the only doctor on the mountain when the storm hit, he treated the survivors as they descended from Camp IV."

There were several other doctors on Everest at the time. Kamler treated Beck Weathers, who's a pathologist. Stuart Hutchinson was in Weathers' group and is a Canadian cardiologist. Caroline Mackenzie was a base camp doctor. Ingrid Hunt, Henrik Jessen Hansen and Charlotte Noble were team doctors along with Kamler. John Taske and Dale Kruse were doctors and climbers that year. Henrik Jessen Hansen and Kamler worked together to treat patients and build the makeshift hospital tent.

Additionally, Kamler treated climbers in the mess camp at Camp Two. I'm not sure what source says he treated patients coming down from Camp Four.
