the "original research" that keeps getting removed from this page is this "Karraje is a prototype for various other sophisticated pirate characters, such as Don Karnage of TaleSpin animated series and Peter Garin of The Hyperboloid of Engineer Garin novel by Alexey Tolstoy.". What's wrong with you folks? You don't see any parallel between Karraje and Karnage, for crying out loud? Why is it ok to say that the sky is blue and women are oppressed by patriarchy, but not ok to say that this was a seminal case of a whole character type and genre of literature?
