Situation[edit]

Lithuania has no laws against HS. Lithuania is a member in the EU. All members of the EU have NO laws against HS. Lithuania is a small country with a less population, so that LGBT is only to find in the capital of the country.GLGerman 13:44, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Add this plox[edit]

This new law seems relevant, and I couldn't find mention of it in the current article: http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2009/sep/14/gay-hate-laws-lithuania --holizz (talk) 08:10, 17 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You mean the amendment of the Penal Code? It has been proposed, rejected, then again proposed. I suggest we wait till some real stuff happens.--Ąžuolas (talk) 18:28, 17 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Recognition of same-sex relationships[edit]

Just want to clarify: the recognition of such unions is not contested by the Lithuanian authorities. They cannot be formed in Lithuania, but they are probably recognised if performed abroad under certain conditions. A case must yet be brought to court.--Ąžuolas (talk) 11:48, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
