So why is only the leading edge inflated and not the whole kite or most of it? Arnero 11:37, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

leading edge (frontbladder) and struts (stabilizing pylons) are inflated to make the kite stable and get the whole sail into proper position

that makes maximum aredynamic use

u wonna inflate the whole kite?! like a ballon ?! well would reduce aerodynamic perfomance, but we wonna have a good one

Merge from Bow kite[edit]

I believe a merge makes sense since Leading edge inflatable kite discusses 4 differnt types of LEI, including the bow kite which has a separate chapter. -- Egil (talk) 20:48, 27 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Weak oppose, on the grounds that bow kite might be independently notable and a summary/main format is common in Wikipedia. I've added a 'main' template to the relevant section on the Leading edge inflatable kite page. Klbrain (talk) 13:55, 19 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
