Mafia In Northern Italy[edit]

It might be interesting to note that Leinì is the second town in Piedmont to have an extraordinary administration due to police operations against organized crime. This operation (2010) was dubbed "Operazione Minotauro" (Operation Minoutaur), and led to the capture of over 150 individuals involved with Calabrian mafia ('ndrangheta) in Piedmont. Leinì's former mayor (Nevio Coral) was arrested and now has been sentenced 10 years in jail. P.M. 2014 May 5th — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.218.224.5 (talk) 14:48, 19 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
