David Hunt[edit]

For "office held in power" for David Hunt it simply has Secretary of State for Wales (1995). I wonder if this is a bit misleading. Hunt held the post from 1990-1993 before moving to other cabinet posts. In 1995 he was serving as Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster when he took over the Welsh Office in addition to this post, on a temporary basis as John Redwood had left the Cabinet to challenge John Major for the Conservative leadership. His second spell lasted only just over a week as Major reshuffled the cabinet and Hunt departed both jobs. Thus I wonder if Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster (1994-1995) would be better as it was his last permanent post in the government? Dunarc (talk) 22:57, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
