Updates[edit]

Updating this is an impossible task since new markers seem to sprout like mushrooms. I've added a bunch, the whole list should be re-sorted and renumbered. Peter Flass (talk) 12:27, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Possible errors[edit]

BALLSTON FORT (#1) - marker on Front Street in Ballston Spa apparently removed: https://dmna.ny.gov/forts/fortsA_D/ballsTownFort.htm
ELIPHALET BALL (#3) - text has changes, assume new marker
BALLSTON CHURCH (#9) - text changed, assume new marker since church burned
GRANT COTTAGE (#97) - This is on Mt. McGregor Road, not Route 9.
SITE OF OLD STOCKADED FORT (#10) - I think this was replaced

I have a few more markers I have photos of, but I'm mostly giving up. This is a hopeless task, I've only done parts of a few towns. I plan to do only any significant markers I encounter henceforth.

I think a complete list of markers is valuable since the text can at least furnish hits for search terms. Unfortunately I don't believe there's a complete list any more.Peter Flass (talk) 00:39, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
