Worlds vs SC Worlds[edit]

I don't believe that the 25m records should be on the same page as the World Championships records. The meets are 2 different categories from a FINA perspective:

what has been dubbed here on wikipedia as FINA World Aquatics Championships are the World Championships.
the FINA World Swimming Championships (25 m) are a discipline (swimming-only) championships, that while open to the entire world, has not developed the stature nor reached a point of development of the Worlds.

Nor do I believe it is FINA's intent for it really to rival the main Worlds, particularly since the latter is just 1 discipline and the former involves all 5 of FINA's disciplines. Hooperswim (talk) 14:59, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
