ICAO system[edit]

How does this differ from the ICAO system? Is Location Identifier deprecated? I understood that the four letter K- codes (KSMO) were to replace the previous terminology.--Justfred 04:14, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have edited the article just now to add some better info. The article was presenting all the identifiers as interchangable, when in fact there are several systems in use. -Rolypolyman (talk) 18:22, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Editors[edit]

Hello Everyone, Recently, I have posted my Airport Search Website in the External links of this page but my link has been removed. An editor (Ahunt) explain me why it was removed. The link I have posted violates the Wikipedia External link policy because it's a Link mainly intended to promote a website and because the website belongs to me, I'm in a conflict of interest in posting it.

I'm sorry about that everyone, I'm new to wikipedia and I didn't know about this policy.

I'm proud of my website and my goal was only to offer this services to the community. If you think that my website should be useful for people and is appropriate to be included in this page, I will really appreciate it. If not, it's ok I will understand. Or if you have any comments about my website, to improve it or whatever, simply give me a comment, I will be happy to receive your message. Thank you and sorry for my english (it's not my primary language). Lindbergh2002 (talk) 15:22, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

TCAN[edit]

Is there a list of TC LIDs? That would be useful to have. 70.55.200.185 (talk) 10:58, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

FAA LID for foreign countries[edit]

Hello, I've come across this Angaur_Airstrip / FAA = ANG and wonder if FAA LID also exists in foreign countries (here a former US island) ?

Discontinued continued[edit]

Both of the examples given for codes "discontinued entirely, with no successor" include information about their successor! Are there any genuine examples of this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.13.185.2 (talk) 16:13, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
