Citations Needed[edit]

I placed citation tags on those parts of the article needing references. No tag should be removed without putting a verifiable and reliably-sourced reference in its place. We cannot allow uncited information to be allowed in the Biography of a Living Person (WP:BLP). The criteria for inclusion is higher than normal articles because incorrect information can damage a person's reputation and open WP up to massive litigation.
As well, this Discussion area is not a forum to discuss how dreamy you think he is, or his ridiculously bad haircut. This area is reserved for discussing the article alone. Please remember that. Cheers! - Arcayne (cast a spell) 22:16, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Um, though I agree with you, Arcayne, that this article requires sources, this is a bit excessive. I believe you got a bit carried away with the fact tag. ;) I've reverted and placed the {{references}} template at the top of the page for now, which covers everything, but I'm sure a majority of this information is available and just a few Google searches away. I also re-added the IMDb tag, as it's not a reference, but an external link, which is suitable for actors and filmmakers. María (críticame) 00:58, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Absolutely. While it is important to have refs, it's silly to put a {{Fact}} tag after every statement.69.241.105.242 23:10, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I guess you are both correct. Next time, i will jsut remove uncited data, as the critewria for BLP allows. And no, Imdb is not suitable for anything in wikipedia. I will be remmoving it again. Sorry if it seems harsh, but putting a {{references}} template on the page doesn't let editors know where the uncited info is, and the article stays uncited for longer than the fact tags do. If the majority of this info is a google search away, perhaps the best use of the time would not to complain about the fact tags, but to do something about it instead. Wouldn't you say? - Arcayne (cast a spell) 01:36, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I am thinking that perhaps my comments above were a bit too harsh. Let's put my statements to the test: After I placed the cn tags, less than five day after that, someone removed one of the the cn tags and replaced it with info. Lets see if the all-encompassing reference tag accomplishes the task better, and catches all the uncited text. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 01:46, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
