Creation dates[edit]
The article stated that Los Rios province was created in 1948 and its capital in 1860. Having reviewed the reference given in the article and also reviewed the information on Statoids.com[1] which shows Bolivar being split from Los Rios in 1884 and the wiki article on Guayas Province states that Los Rios was split from it in 1860, I conclude that the information given in this article had reversed the dates.
Based on the above I have reworded the summary and updated the Infobox to show Los Rios as being created on 6th October 1860 and Babahoyo being made the capital in 1948. If you have evidence I am wrong please feel free to correct me. MWchat (talk) 14:37, 16 September 2016 (UTC)
