I'm not sure to understand why, but based on the official Olympic Games page there is 31 and not 30 women luge athletes qualified for the game. The only one that is not mentioned on this page is the South Korean Sung Eun-Ryung. Based on the qualification process quota by NOC, KOR do not have a spot for the women competition.

Maybe the reason it is that one of the 31 athletes will only perform in the team relay competition ?
