Population clarification[edit]

I made a note on the demographics section to account for the large number of people who reside outside of the city itself. I lived about 7 miles from Mariposa, CA for my whole life, and while we were closer to the town of Midpines (pop of about 100, more of a community and satellite town) we considered ourselves from Mariposa. The fact is in rural communities the people tend to congregate around the largest town in the area, and its the exact same case with Mariposa and its the same with Oakhurst also. Orphaned references in Mariposa, California[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Mariposa, California's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Historic significance of Mariposa's courthouse[edit]

Changed "oldest courthouse in continuous use in California" to "oldest courthouse in continuous use west of the Rockies" as per http://mariposacourt.org/.
