2 Mary Waltons[edit]

I think the article mixes 2 different Mary Waltons. The life dates are according to this article 1727-1794 but also according to this article Mary Walton created in 1879 a method for reducing the environmental hazards of the smoke, 85 years after she died. Sp please clean it up. --85.124.99.8 16:46, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mary Walton Morris is not notable I think. I was going to make her an aritcle and make Mary Walton a disambig page, but when I started looking more carefully, I realized that she really wasn't that notable. --Lendorien 23:51, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Who is Mary Walton?[edit]

We (Another Wikipedia nerd and I) recently discovered Mary Walton looking for female inventors, We noticed that there's almost no information about her, there's no birth date in the article (some others wikipedias claim that she was born on 1827) and we never found a death date either. It seems that her name was Mary E. Walton according to the U.S patent from 1881, We don't know what the "E" stands for tho. We found a site where a "Mary Elizabeth Walton" appears... even they have the same alleged birth dates! (1827), the site is this one: "https://es.findagrave.com/memorial/110102351/mary-elizabeth-walton". There's a grave where shows that she died in 1913, but we don't know if these 2 Mary Waltons are the same, In the description of the website they never talk about the accomplishments or inventions she made, all this seems very weird, I think it's important to make sure that the info we have it's correct and if we can add more to it, this article seems very incomplete.
