Use of YouTube Video as a cited source[edit]

Quite a few substantial details in this page come from a YouTube video. I know normally that wouldn't be a preferred source, but I've checked the video out and believe it to be a credible source. The video is of a talk given by Maurice J. Casey to the Liam and Tom O'Flaherty Society. Mr Casey is currently researching May O'Callaghan for his PhD at the University of Oxford. Some biographic details here: https://goodbyetwilight.wordpress.com/about/ and also here: https://oxford.academia.edu/MauriceCasey Indeed it was a Tweet from him when visiting her childhood home that brought her to my attention!

Further areas for research / write up[edit]

There is other substantial information to be further researched and added to this article:

  1. Whilst in Russia she was instrumental in the publication of Liam O'Flaherty's work in the country
  2. She was apparently the writer Eugene Fogarty (important to James Joyce scholars)
  3. There is some sort of link to the Austrian playwright Arthur Schnitzler (https://twitter.com/MauriceJCasey/status/947906322850336768)

pic[edit]

I added a pic from the newspaper. A better source for that would be good Victuallers (talk) 00:32, 3 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Removed the pic as I don't believe that this is her. In the newspaper article it's tagged as Mrs Christina Harding :-) Ammienoot (talk) 09:38, 3 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
