Ben, hi.

That’s correct: McCurdy Park no longer exists as a park. It got subsumed as part of the 520 expansion project. I think it and the rest of the “MOHAI Peninsula” are currently being used for staging. When the project is complete (in about 10 years?), some land will revert to the City, but it won’t be the same park in the same place—although what we’ll get back did get negotiated to be fair compensation for what we gave up. (I’m not clear on the details, just the basic outline.)

That remaining link to a blank page has to do with the way our website is set up with consecutive numbering of the park webpages, so we can’t delete it entirely. At some point our website redesign will do away with that system and any blanks. For now, if the link can still be found, it comes up as the blank page. We’ve contacted Google, Wikipedia, and Yelp! to ask them to remove their citations, and of course we’ve removed it from our own online A-Z list.
