I have separated mechanical testing of materials, as opposed to structures ( i.e. where a scale or full-size structure such as a composite beam, bridge, aircraft wing, etc. is tested to destruction). Will require specialist knowledge to expand on structures.
Do we attempt to correlate individual mechanical properties to the mechanical tests by which they are determined?
