MTV analogy un-neccessary?[edit]

The article describes Ready, Steady Go! as “a forerunner of MTV-type programming” - surely an unwarranted comaprison? RSG! was just one of many studio-based pop programmes - such as Top of the Pops, Six Five Special and American shows such as American Bandstand. As such shows were commonplace, and still existed after the start of MTv (which was, at its inception, largely not live music performed in a studio setting), I’d think the comparison was un-necessary, unless there is some direct line specifically between the production of RSG! and MTv? American Baronet?[edit]

How did he get around the US Constitution Article I, Section 9, Clause 8? His title is foreign so it was not granted by the United States.

Parentage[edit]

I am modifying the discussion of his parentage by Welles to the word "argues" because it is not necessarily factually proved. Unfortunately Patrick McGilligan seems unaware that a "full" pregnancy is now considered to be 10 months and it *is* possible to have an overdue pregnancy of 11 months or longer. McGilligan is probably not aware that there is considerable variation among women, for example, some women have 27 day menstrual cycles and others 32 day cycles, which is why a pregnancy "due date" is a nebulous concept that has changed as the understanding of pregnancy has grown.

Since Fitzgerald told her friend Vanderbilt that Welles was the father (and would obviously know if they were intimate in a time that would enable pregnancy), there is a facial similarity, and Welles' own daughter suspected their relation, McGilligan could be incorrect about parentage. He is definitely incorrect about it being a "biological impossibility". However, I am not eliminating his suggestion, simply noting that it is that - a suggestion, not necessarily fact. 73.115.53.151 (talk) 06:18, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
