The minus website was taken down.[edit]

Multi-Being[edit]

The article says she "changes her hair color with every strip" but i don't think that's what the artist was trying to convey.

I think the hair being different colors is to show that they are different copies of minus because minus has the ability to be in several places at once or be multiple people at once [1].

this comic shows she can produce multiple copies of herself[2], Which could be individuals or still part of the same entity, in this comic [3] the minus in the last panel looks a bit like the woman she was talking to maybe she was absorbed into that entity?, Which wouldn't have much repercussions to minus as she can easily alter peoples minds and thoughts[4] and she could assume her identity if they wanted to [5]

What Minus is exactly has always been vague. However, we can assume every "version" of Minus is still Minus-proper (together forming a single entity, in a "God is everywhere at once" kind of way). Saying something along the lines of "she has different haircolor in every strip" may be the most accurate way to describe it (if this needs describing in the first place). ~Mable (chat) 07:30, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Good point but it wouldn't be literally true to say in each strip a different hair color is used, the "other versions" of minus have distinguishing features or may have become part of minus after being someone/something else.[6]

But whether or not she is one or many it is clear she has this "superpower" For example Doctor_Manhattan has a similar power where he can split into multiple copies of himself like minus did but is aware of all of them at once and they are all controlled by the same mind/collective consciousness maybe minus is like that.

Seeing as Minus is omnipotent, it is impossible to say what the deal is. Multiple pages clearly show that she has "multiple bodies", but plenty of other pages show that she can change her appearance. As for the page on which she takes on the purple haircolor of the artist: I interpreted it that she wanted to be more like her and only changed her hair. What we should try to stay away from is interpreting the work ourselves. It would have been great if more reliable sources had analyzed the work in depth. Then we could have just quoted them. For now, it's probably best to just ignore it as part of her omnipotence. The article doesn't mention ghosts either, eventhough that is actually part of the webcomic's resolution and all that. minus definitely dwarfs his other work as it is his most popular by far, But I wouldn’t completely dismiss everything else completely based on that.

I would be in favour of a page covering his body of work as a whole with some background on him. My suggestion would be a new and improved [Ryan_Armand] page, A page about his work (covering minus as it’s done here) and brief description of each of his other works citing reviews and interviews.

Do you know any sources for his other works? I've never seen any of them. I didn't take this action because I think Armand's other works aren't good or important. I merged Armand here because I haven't seen any reliable sources discuss (or even mention) Armand except when talking about Minus.
