disambiguation[edit]

Another wikipedian came to the conclusion that a disambiguation page was needed, because there are mulitiple individuals with this name. I have no problem with that.

But they decided they would cut and paste the contents of this article, and change this article into the disambiguation page. That is simply the wrong way to do disambiguation, because it means the place where this content is stored, which has a meaningful contribution history, will be in an article divorced from that contribution history.

The proper way to do this would have have been

move the page with the history to a new name with disambiguation info in it.
That leave the old name, with no disambigifiers in its name as a redirect. So, edit that redirect, and turn it into a disambiguation page.

I will clean up the rest of this mistaken effort, so there is a disambiguation page.
