Will review soon. -420Traveler (talk) 14:08, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@PlanetJuice: HI just wanted to let you know I started reviewing. -420Traveler (talk) 15:28, 18 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I'll make these changes within the next few days – I am a bit busy now. Also, since the article was nominated for GA, there was some major flooding that damaged the road and received extensive local news coverage. I will assess that at the same time as I make the changes so that any required additions to the History section can be reviewed under the GA nom as well. PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 02:14, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ok sounds good. I'll review history section after you add in the flooding info. -420Traveler (talk) 14:42, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Some changes made. PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 02:56, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi 420Traveler. Just wanted to let you know that I've finished with the remaining changes and added some info about the flood washout. I really apologize for the delay and understand if you would prefer not to continue with the review given the long length of time since our last discussion. Thanks, PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 03:25, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No problem at all, I'll be reviewing the history section later today. -420Traveler (talk) 15:04, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Lede[edit]

  • Add 22.215 mi-long before state highway
Done (amended to 22.215-mile-long for consistency with other articles) — Preceding unsigned comment added by PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 02:56, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Add (US 80) after U.S. Route 80
Done — Preceding unsigned comment added by PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 02:56, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Change Mississippi Highway 492 to MS 492
Done — Preceding unsigned comment added by PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 02:56, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Starting on the south end at U.S. Route 80 in Lake, the highway almost immediately crosses into Newton County and runs to Conehatta. Add "in Scott County" after Lake and then split into two sentences
Done – I used in the Scott County portion of Lake to try to avoid a double "in"; Lake crosses the county line — Preceding unsigned comment added by PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 02:56, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • it then continues I would change "it" to "MS 489"
Done — Preceding unsigned comment added by PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 02:56, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Add comma after 1956
Done (slightly reworded this as well) — Preceding unsigned comment added by PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 02:56, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • in infobox, add references to established date
     Done PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 03:17, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Route description[edit]

  • MS 489 begins change "begins" to "southern terminus" since it begins at both ends
Done (reworded as well) — Preceding unsigned comment added by PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 02:56, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • what is a stop-controlled intersection?
     Reworded PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 03:17, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Add link to US 80
    • US 80 is already linked in the lead. I understand it's the first occurrence after the lead, but I think that the lead and the article are short enough that this shouldn't be necessary. Is there something I overlooked? Ultimately though, I am fine with either way, if you would prefer it still be linked. PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 02:56, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That works for me. -420Traveler (talk) 15:02, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • The road initially runs northeast; less than 1,000 feet (300 m) later, it crosses into Newton County and continues north-northeast. I'd change to "The road runs northeast for roughly 1000 feet before crossing into Newton County and curving north-northeast" or something similar
     Done PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 03:17, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Add link to both counties
Works for me -420Traveler (talk) 15:02, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

History[edit]

  • Previously, only Mississippi Highway 21 and Mississippi Highway 15 change "Mississippi Highway 21" to MS 21?
Changed both MS 21 and MS 15. PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 04:21, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • comma after 1965
I offset "in 1965" in commas altogether since I think that is correct. I can make a quick change to just the end comma if needed though. PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 04:21, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@PlanetJuice: sorry for the delay, after this it can pass. -420Traveler (talk) 22:28, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@420Traveler: Changes made. Thank you for the review! PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 04:21, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
