Bikepacking, separate page?[edit]
There's a growing contingent of mountain bikers who are riding mixed terrain routes with ultralight gear. Many are calling it "bikepacking". Most routes identified on bikepacking.net are over 100 miles. Many of the practices originated with the transcontinental routes like the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route or the Transrockies. ‘Rough Stuff’[edit]
The term ‘rough stuff’ appears to originate in England. There’s no evidence it’s used widely ‘in Europe’, and I would suggest that considerable evidence is needed before suggesting that countries other than the 3 English-speaking countries in Europe use the term.
