Mass[edit]

Article says, “The ring contains 100 million solar masses (2.5% of Milky Way)” - 100m solar is nowhere near 2.5% of the Milky Way’s mass. See Milky Way. Fig (talk) 09:29, 18 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Radiates outward"??[edit]

This wording about the corrugations is very poor, on multiple grounds.

However, it is also unclear what the author intended. Is this supposed to indicate that the MW's disk at (galactic!) radii beyond the Sun has the property? Or that our observations suggest the property at increasing radii from the Sun? Jmacwiki (talk) 23:43, 16 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
