Talk:Multiplayer mobile games
Needs more wiki. Glad to see the article though. Mathiastck 20:41, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
Too much advertisement
[edit]Someone should remove the advertising portions so the whole article doesn't get deleted. Mathiastck 20:47, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
- Well no one has deleted it, but I'm not going to wait, I removed most of the parts that are just advertisement. I'm not done yet though :) Mathiastck 19:06, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

Advertisement article
[edit]I've compacted the article somewhat and removed a few weasel words to avoid having to tag this article as an advertisment (which may cause it to be deleted). Definately read WP:AUTO.
I also made some stylistic changes to make the article conform to the manual of style as part of my regular Wikipedia editing; Mathiastck
No merge
[edit]I'm against merging mobile game with multiplayer mobile gaming. There is enough content in the existing multiplayer mobile gaming article. Mobile game is an even broader subject, so I wouldn't want it subsumed into the multiplayer article, but multiplayer is such a small portion of the market I wouldn't want it to dominaite this article. I will try and give both articles more love, they can easily be improved. Mathiastck 14:33, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit]The last section is obviously cut and pased from the company's web page referenced under "external links". Furthermore it is listed under "Global multiplayer mobile games using GPRS connection" but has nothing to do with GPRS connectivity at all. An API is a software development technique and shall not rely on any particular kind of access technology. This section seems to be the main focus of the article but talks about software development and standardization. I suggest to remove it completely and merge the remaining bullets into the "Mobile games" section.
- I've removed that entire section, since it was in no way encyclopaedic and needed to go. Wibbble 23:46, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
happy
[edit]I'm just glad multiplayer mobile games have become so popular that it DOES now make sense for them to dominate discussion :). going through these talk entries was a fun trip through memory lane :) Mathiastck (talk) 21:36, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
