Merger[edit]

The articles on Border, Midland and Western and on Southern and Eastern should merge into the Regional Assemblies in Ireland article. The two articles hold nothing that is not in the Assemblies article. Laurel Lodged (talk) 21:21, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You're refering to the current content of the article. However, the specific articles probably have potential to develop some useful content of their own. As their subjects are different and the individual regions have enough notability to have an article, I don't think the merge is appropriate. Place Clichy (talk) 10:20, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
A merger into this article would not preclude the development of the separate streams within this article. Let's not forget that the 2 articles have no more than 2 sentances apiece. There's development, and then there's futile splitting for no good reason (as far as I can see). Laurel Lodged (talk) 14:16, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
