Proposed deletion[edit]

The first paragraph under the section 'Earthquake Monitoring in India' seems to be a description of earthquakes in India. This information feels out of place in this article, as it is describing the history of earthquakes, which doesn't yet include NCS. This information would be more appropriate on a page devoted to earthquakes in India, I feel. I'm inclined to delete this paragraph.
