Small details[edit]

Small details but wouldn't "&" be a better option than "and" as it is more visually distinct and takes up less space and is a universal symbol rather than language depending Amy wamey (talk) 21:53, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

See MOS:AMPERSAND. Ampersands ("&") are generally not used in article titles, for a number of reasons, one of which being that they have a special function in Internet URLs (and the title of an article is reproduced in its URL). General Ization Talk 21:56, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Fair point, however the &'s in question are not part of a title in the article — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amy wamey (talkcontribs) 22:06, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

At the link above: "In normal text and headings, use and instead of the ampersand (&) in most cases". General Ization Talk 22:13, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, that's a frustrating problem but thanks for explaining it — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amy wamey (talkcontribs) 22:27, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
