Killingholme Admiralty Oil Storage and Refuelling[edit]
I am striving to improve the Killingholme Admiralty Platform railway station article, which is related to the North Killingholme Haven article.
The history of RNAS Killingholme is well documented, as is RAF North Killingholme and the claypit narrow gauge railway, but I can't get a handle on when the Admiralty ended their involvement with the haven.
Does anyone know when the Royal Navy 1. stopped refuelling ships at North Killingholme Haven, 2. closed their oil storage depot and 3. ended all involvement with the haven? Some or all of these dates may be the same, of course.
