Well-written?[edit]

The article has some rough prose in places. Please have a copy-edit carried out. Here are some of the issues most in need of correction:
  • ""Novacane" the debut single by American singer-songwriter Frank Ocean released as the lead single from his mixtape Nostalgia, Ultra." - not a grammatical sentencecheckY
  • ""Nocavane" is written by..." - was writtencheckY
  • Not part of GA criteria, but contractions shouldn't be used (except in quotes)

Outside GA criteria[edit]

  • Some references are formatted incorrectly
  • The prose about chart info should be expanded and given its own section.checkY
  • Music video section should be placed beneath reception/chart performance (but before live performances and chart tables).checkY
  • It would be good to convert the release info into prose and place it in the background section.checkY

Near GA standard, but doesn't quite meet criterion 1. After a thorough copy-edit I should be able to list this article. —Andrewstalk 03:17, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Does File:Frankoceaninnovacane.jpg fail because the file page wasn't filled out correctly, or it just because it's not important to the article? Otherwise have I addressed all concerns? Bruce Campbell (talk) 16:47, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The file fails WP:NFCC because that scene isn't important to the article, and I have removed it. I suggest a screenshot of when Ocean is rubbing his face and there are white spots on his cheek and hallucination-esque special effects happening. Otherwise, yes, this article passes GA. Well done. —Andrewstalk 22:26, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
