In addition, O'Shaughnessy is Gaelic for O searchnasach, or "in search of nasach". This is a Gaelic name ande derives from the very beginning of immigraiton from Iberians into Ireland, creating the first black irish. Also, the was an O'Shaughnessy king was known to be the last pagan king of Ireland.
