A few blogs (which alas do not count as reliable sources for our purposes) suggest that "Ofosu Appiah" and "Michael Ofosu-Appiah" may be two different people. Both seem to play for the same teams and have the same birthdays, so assuming this is a coincidence unless some reliable sources can be dug up on this.
