Militarist and plagiarist[edit]

In this article about new minister of education and science of Ukraine it would be good to mention that he is criticized as militarist and plagiarist. Even a quick analysis of the abstract of Lisovyi’s PhD thesis “Socio-cultural self-identification of the individual”, published in 2012, allows to identify borrowings without references, with signs of mechanical copying and auto-replacement of words from the abstract of the PhD thesis of Yaroslav Arabchuk “The main factors of personal socialization in a multicultural environment”, published earlier in 2011. 93.72.108.33 (talk) 11:30, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Is this critique of him being a "miliarist" not giving WP:UNDUE-space to a fringe theory by the organisation "Ukrainian Pacifist Movement"? We have no idea who may people this group represents, it may be a minuscule part of the Ukrainian society. At worse this group is a virtual nonexistent russian created astroturf group solely created for creating havoc in the society of Ukraine. Needless to say such groups should not be represented on Wikipedia as "respectable considered". — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 13:43, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
User 93.72.108.33 appears to be located in Kyiv, Ukraine... The organisation "Ukrainian Pacifist Movement" is likely to be from Kyiv, Ukraine too and ip-editor 93.72.108.33 is likely a representative of this organisation... Or a VPN is used to make it look like someone from Kyiv made the edit. The article used as a source: [1] on World Beyond War might be written by the same person as the one who included it on Wikipedia.... I will remove the section until more previously published information from reliable sources is available. — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 13:57, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I just removed the section until a more previously published information from reliable sources is available written by individuals who are independent of the organisation who voiced the opinion: ip-editor 93.72.108.33 seems to be anything but that. To put it bluntly Wikipedia is not for things made up one day by 1 person (in this case it seems to me to be a personal opinion). — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 14:04, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In a little research in Ukrainian sources by me it seems to appear that the "Militarist and plagiarist critique" on Mr. Lisovyi is not existing.... (atleast not big enough news to mention and as I wrote before putting it in the current article size is definitely giving WP:UNDUE-space to a fringe theory, if the critique is not a 1-man-show anyhow...). — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 14:15, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Since the article now is mostly based on Ukrainska Pravda, you may be interested to know that a part of this popular portal, Ukrainska Pravda Zhyttia, checked so-called "fringe theory" of pacifists and found it is true; they mention that Ukrainian Pacifist Movement was first who alarmed the public, but now well-known experts on plagiarism found the criticism correct. Junior Academy of Sciences provided to journalists Lisoviy's comment, quoted in the article, that he is ready to give up his PhD degree. 93.72.108.33 (talk) 15:21, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I just included this in the article. And please stop sounding so aggressive; we are not on russian television.... — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 18:22, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

New 363-pages report proves that 43% of Lisovyi's PhD thesis is plagiarized. 93.72.108.33 (talk) 15:43, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The case was also reported by a famous Italian pacifist association "Azione nonviolenta".[2] I think we can restore the part. Mhorg (talk) 12:20, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
