Final recording?[edit]

Although it is written that "The album was Evans' final studio recording before his death in 1988" with reference to Crease, S. S., Gil Evans: Out of the Cool: His Life and Music, p.323, it may not be true. The 4th track <Goodby Pork Pie Hat> of Take Me to the Sun (Last Chance Music) was recorded in 1988.
