Fair use rationale for Image:WheninRomeDoastheVandals.jpg[edit]

Image:WheninRomeDoastheVandals.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Restless Records[edit]

I updated this to correct who issued this on CD first. Restless Records were the first ones to issue this CD back in 1989 (Time Bomb Recordings wasn't even formed until 1995) and the tracks are in a different order. The Restless version also lists the original songwriting credits. I think the Time Bomb version credits everything to Joe Escalante (I'm not sure, though, as I own the Restless version). Can you find some sort of reference for this? I'm not aware of a CD release on Restless, and I searched for it for some time. I'm only aware of the original releases: Peace Thru Vandalism on Epitaph in '82, and When in Rome on National Trust in '84, followed by the combo CD on Time Bomb in '89. Out of each of those the only one I don't own is the original Peace Thru Vandalism EP, so I'm getting the info straight off the releases. The Time Bomb version of the combo CD has a copyright date of 1989 printed on it. This is the version that credits everything to Escalante, which was of course a source of contention as mentioned in the Vandals article. I reverted your edits, but only because I'm skeptical of it without some kind of evidence. As I said, I own a copy of the Restless version. Time Bomb wasn't formed until 1995, so they weren't issuing CDs in 1989. The copyright probably has to do something with the rights to the Restless versions. I have TSOL's "Beneath the Shadows" CD on Nitro records, and it also has a copyright of 1989, and Nitro wasn't even around then. I believe that Restless might have originally issued that one, too. Works for me. As I said I'm just surprised, because I searched for quite a while for information about the Restless release and didn't find any. That's actually one of the reasons I wound up getting When in Rome on vinyl, to confirm some of the credits. I imagine the copyrights were renewed in '89 by Escalante for the Restless release, and they just transferred over for the Time Bomb release. I don't think I'm supposed to edit this actual article as I played on and co-wrote some of the songs listed. I'm not listed as anything but a musician due to Joe's incessant efforts to marginalize the contributions of others and claim all the writing credits for himself. What you guys are missing are the credits listed below where you're editing, in the song descriptions.
