De-stubbed[edit]

This article appears to be of an appropriate length for the subject matter under discussion. It is also appropriately categorized and wikified.

By nature, stubbing and tagging articles devalues them, giving them an aura of unreliability and making them seem less credible. As part of my personal campaign to free up articles that have been stubbed and tagged without cause, this article has been disenstubbified.

History of the pollera needed[edit]

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page[edit]

The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Not notable - just means "skirt"[edit]

The word "pollera" in Spanish just means skirt; the article is about some traditional types of skirt, and the word "pollera" doesn't merit an article. Taking a random section from the article and substituting "pollera" by "skirt" we just get text similar to what could be written about any folk dress anywhere:

Panama In Panama, handmade skirts are worn during festivals or celebrations. They are mainly made of cotton and wool. Normally, dominant color is white, and adornments are colorful flower designs. Girls and women would generally own two skirts during their life: one before age 16 and one at adulthood.
A single skirt can cost from several hundred to several thousands of dollars and take up to a year to create. The gold and pearl mosquetas and tembleques that provides a skirt are generally passed down as heirlooms through generations.

I'd suggest the article be deleted. The content might belong in articles about the folk costumes of the various countries.
