[edit]I recall seeing El Pollo Loco restauraunts in the Tampa Bay area in the mid/late 1980s. What happened to them? - Aerobird 22:15, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
- There was one in the Pine Hills area of Orlando as well in the late 80's. It was closed due to health violations. Railfan2012 (talk) 03:30, 6 March 2013 (UTC)

Is this article ready to be split into three pages?
[edit]Is this article large enough yet to be split into multiple articles or pages? If so, I suggest breaking the article into three (3) separate pages. Here are my suggestions:
- The page for the American company should be called either El Pollo Loco (United States) or El Pollo Loco, Inc., both of which are currently redirects to the section El Pollo Loco#United States.
- The page for the Mexican company should be called either El Pollo Loco (Mexico) or El Pollo Loco, S.A. de C.V., both of which are currently redirects to the section El Pollo Loco#Mexico.
- The current page El Pollo Loco should be made into a disambiguation per WP:D with a short paragraph about the historical relationship between the two companies.
Are both sections currently large enough to stand by themselves? If the consensus is to have this article split up, I would suggest that each resulting articles need to describe its company's relationship to its counterpart and also the affects of the 2007 lawsuit between the two companies. Are there any opinions on this topic? -- 68.50.32.85 (talk) 00:39, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
