Link the page with other Wiki entries[edit]

The article can be linked with other Wiki entries on the Philippine economy. Randytuano (talk) 06:53, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Second paragraph includes analysis[edit]

The second paragraph may be removed without loss of information since this just sets the tone for the whole Wikipedia entry. The last sentence is problematic since this includes the author's analysis of the historical events; it would be better just to give a straight recitation of facts. Link data with references[edit]

Sources of the macroeconomic data should be cited. Randytuano (talk) 06:53, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Proofreading[edit]

The Wiki entry should be thoroughly proofread; there are differences in verb tenses, especially in the third part of the entry. Randytuano (talk) 06:53, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal: Economic history of the Philippines[edit]

Many countries have articles on Wikipedia on their entire economic history. We have plenty of information here that deals with the economic history of the Philippines as a whole, and I was thus thinking it would be best if we merge this all into a single article so that the Philippines can be added to the list of countries which have their own 'Economic history of' articles. ætərnal ðrAعon 04:18, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
