Do we know who the Plastic Ono Band were on Yoko's "Open Your Box"? Was it recorded at the same session as "Power to the People"? --kingboyk 13:53, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Recording location[edit]

The article says "recorded by John Lennon at Apple Records in England". Does that mean it was recorded at the Apple Studio? Or is this poor English really meaning it was released on Apple and recorded elsewhere? --kingboyk 14:09, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

According to Lennon, this was recorded at his home in Ascot. I've added a reference for this. Tripscafe (talk) 01:09, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Jonopttp.jpg[edit]

Image:Jonopttp.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Billy Preston participation?[edit]

Personnel section lists Billy Preston as keyboardist on the 1971 recording, and cites Imagine: The Ultimate Edition (2018) for list of credited personnel. In the book from this reader’s copy of Ultimate Edition, page 77 lists John Lennon — piano, vocals; Bobby Keys — saxophone; Klaus Voormann — bass; Jim Gordon — drums; Choir — backing vocals. Page 93 lists the same personnel, with the addition of Rosetta Hightower (as “Rosetta Hightower and choir”). If there is material from The Ultimate Edition, or from any other original, official source, which credits Billy Preston as a performer on this recording, can someone point to its specific location?--Mazeckenrode (talk) 05:49, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The main content also lists Alan White on drums, conflicting with the personnel section which list Jim Gordon. Internal conflict in the content. This needs to be verified one way or the other. Bigmund (talk) 15:13, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
