What's it called?[edit]

Is "QF 4.7-inch Gun" considered by some sources to be a proper name? Most books seem to lower case gun, and I noticed a number of other gun articles were recently fixed to lowercase. And if it's the name, why is the article at "QF 4.7-inch Mk I – IV naval gun"? Dicklyon (talk) 14:04, 31 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
