What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

1596 data??[edit]

Is this the Qaffin mentioned on p. 161, at z26??

I think it could be, but then Nahiya Jinin has to take a "tour" into Nahiya Sara... but that has happened other places. And the Arabic spelling sure looks similar to my unknowing eyes.

The map, however, has z26 (with a question mark), at around (186/209)

The places marked with question marks are put more or less anywhere in the nahiya. I think we have to stick to H&A's assessment that Qaffin is too far away to be Jinin/z26. It is on the far side of other places with good identification so it is hard to draw the nahiya boundaries for this to make sense. Zero^talk 00:46, 17 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
