The top floor of the Queens Hotel looks completely derelict. I was told that at one stage the hotel had been owned by someone of Gypsy/Romany origins and apparently when a gypsy/romany dies the tradition is that their caravan is set ablaze and destroyed. Clearly the hotel could not be burnt down but the story goes that the top floor is left unused as a reflection of this tradition.
