I suggest to split this article into two while RTE is much more generic equation.

I fear that the formula for the Fluence rate in the case of point sources in infinite homogeneus media is wrong. The exponent of the first exponential term is not adimensional as it should be. 147.156.161.204 (talk) 09:51, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The RTE equation does not appear to be dimensionally correct. It looks like there is a 1/c factor missing in front of the first term. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eastview (talkcontribs) 05:42, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's now fixed, with a (1/c) added to the the numerator. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eastview (talkcontribs) 04:28, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Since the diffusion limit of the RTE equation was solved for the case of a delta-function source, doesn't that mean that every particular solution is solved? That solution is the Green's function for the linear operator in the diffusion equation section. Zylorian (talk) 21:17, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
