Unconfirmed facts
[edit]Back in 1994 when I started at Bradford, I considered joining Ramair. I didn't but one interesting fact they told me is that they were the first student radio station to legally broadcast on FM. During the year, they had two one-month licences to broadcast. I'll add this to the article anyway, but can anyone actually cite a source for this and add any facts (such as when this first happened)? Guinness 20:21, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
I Have mentioned it to a few people now working there. They agree it happened & think it may have been mentioned in internal university/union publications but couldn't give details to source it. Nate1481 01:04, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- It happened before that point as I remember listening to ramir on FM as a sixth former, and I'd left Bradford by 1993. Secretlondon 13:44, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
It first happened in 1990 [1] when they got a temporary FM licence. --11:01, 11 October 2007 (UTC)Lloyd rm
