Thank you Emargie for creating the Rancho El Escorpión article. Since my first well intentioned but misguided ("oh-be kind to newbies") rewrite of 24 February I've discovered her incredible work on so many ranchos. Wonderful and appreciated. On El Escorpión & my interest: grew up on one of its boundaries when still undeveloped with Valley Oaks & adobes. Since 2000 much researched, but casually without 'citation' records. Hence most of my first un-cited changes of Feb. 24, I'm sorry. Since the appropriate Emargie rvt. back to verifiable info, been retracing research for references. I respect Emargie may have continuity of form for all the rancho articles in series, no disrespectful intentions with this edit submission. Will work on 'mis-formatted footnotes' and get more 'p. & pp.' info too. Please express concerns - better methods. Just figured out 'talk-page' about Rancho E.E, and so am sorry for previous edits without explaining to other editors. Thanks---Look2See1 (talk) 23:10, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • FYI: the Library of Congress HABS (Historic American Buildings Survey) resource home page is @ [1] . There may be history-plans-photos info on other ranchos etc. Look2See1 (talk) 23:10, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
