Name[edit]

He is "Du Bois, Raoul Pène" at Library of Congress Authorities (and thus in LC Catalog), which I added to section External links. That is, surname Du Bois with capital D and space, middle name Pène with diacritic. LC Authorities gives no decisive source.

Contrast his cousin "Pène du Bois, William" (LC gives no explicit source) and uncle "Pène du Bois, Guy", William's father (per 1985 letter from his daughter to the U.S. National Gallery [1]). --P64 (talk) 19:17, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Last month I revised the relevant pages here and at Wikidata to follow the identical usage of LC Authorities and NY Public Library: Pène du Bois, Guy and William; Du Bois, Raoul and Yvonne. --P64 (talk) 18:23, 11 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Raoul Pène Du Bois designs, 1935-1975[edit]

Archival material per WorldCat OCLC 870531587.
--P64 (talk) 21:26, 8 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That is now listed in section External links, a rather long item: "Raoul Pène Du Bois designs, 1935-1975, held by the Billy Rose Theatre Division, New York Public Library for the Performing Arts – archival material including c. 290 drawings, OCLC 870531587". Probably the archive location should be worked into the body of the article. --P64 (talk) 00:42, 19 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
