- Nice find. It is very interesting to read about Cherokee in Pennsylvania. Never heard of that before. Lots of the info seems to be legend rather than fact. Dincher (talk) 16:51, 18 December 2010 (UTC)

- Hey guys, I agree that the story appears to be legend rather than history. According to the note at the end of the newspaper article, the story comes from the writings of Henry W. Shoemaker, who collected Pennsylvania folklore. So if you wanted to mention the tale in the article, you might say something like "According to folklore recorded by Henry W.
